[trade] what i would ask my future self

This one was actually difficult for me! I wasn't sure what kind of time span I would anticipate and I'm hesitant about placing too many expectations on the future via questions. Not because I think things will fall through, but because I tend to wanna let myself just grow and change and it often happens in ways I didn't or couldn't anticipate. I could imagine the me from 2016 asking how my career in game development is going - but I went a completely different route that fits me a lot better. :)

I guess 10 questions I would ask myself in the future 5 years from now are...

  1. Am I still happily married? :)
  2. Have I advanced in my career?
  3. Am I still enjoying blogging?
  4. Have I managed to move to [redacted]?
  5. Did I finish my bachelor degree yet?
  6. Any values of mine I have radically changed my mind about?
  7. Was AI really a bubble that burst, or has it taken the trajectory enthusiasts predicted?
  8. Who have I lost along the way?
  9. What's my favorite book now?
  10. How has my relationship to tech changed?
