your blog’s scent
What does this website smell like to you, if you had to imagine a scent?
Is it cotton candy and bubblegum because of the pink? Caramel seasalt for the dark mode?
Since this is my online home, let me tell you what scents mix in my real life. I’m not usually a fan of scented products and it needs to be really subtle and not too overwhelming. Lush and Foamie stuff is usually too much.
But my plushie boar, Benji, smells softly like lavender because of his filling. I also grow lavender and rosemary on my balcony. Rosemary or lavender is what I usually choose for hand soap and dish soap. I also have a dry body oil with a strong rosemary note.
I prefer my laundry to be pretty neutral and unscented, just normal fresh laundry smell, so the next stuff is my deodorant - its scent is vanilla orchid. My new lipbalm is cherry vanilla. I don’t use perfume at the moment, and my shower soap bars don’t really have a scent. There is a liquid shampoo the pharmacy gifted to customers that smells wonderfully like freshly peeled orange, and I absolutely adore it.
If I could, I would make it so when you rub on the page, you would smell that, like those scented papers (especially the Diddl papers everyone used to trade where I grew up).
