recent wins II
Here is part one of recent wins from July.
- I was able to start new medication that's having some advantages. I know some people prefer a daily or weekly pill, but I think an injection every 2 weeks (and some are only every 8 weeks too!) is better for me. I only have to remember that, not a daily thing; and so far, a lot of daily pills had daily side effects for me after taking it. But talking to others, usually they crash a bit on the day of the injection, but feel fine otherwise. That's a win in my book; I'd rather feel a bit drained every two weeks than daily.
- I'm seeing a lot of cats lately. After a while of not seeing her, I am now seeing my favorite cat again quite often. She usually comes running up to me yelling and rubbing up against me super happy and follows me :) Today I thought of a specific cat I hadn't seen in a year or so, wondering if it died, and saw it an hour later! Intense coincidence.
- I am somehow super lucky in a game I play. RNGesus is on my side with fishing rare and epic fish that takes others a ton of ingame hours.
- In the same game (MMO) I joined a cake party where we baked a lot of cakes together; then a few days later, I randomly met one of the people from the cake party while fishing on the lake. Turned out we needed the same fish, so we partied up and tried to get it together. Since then, we keep eachother updated on our fishing progress via ingame chat. Kind of sweet.
- After a bout of intense illness again, I am back at the gym.
- My bladder issues seem to have stopped.
- My body is about 99% back to how it was before Prednisone induced Cushings symptoms. That means the water retention is gone, the fat deposits around shoulder and neck are mostly gone, and the moonface is almost completely gone as well.
- My appetite is back and I am not nauseous anymore.
- I cooked something I hadn't cooked in ages because I stopped tolerating it and it tasted amazing (it was my rendition of an English breakfast; airfried potatoes, baked beans in tomato sauce, vegan bacon, some mushrooms and some bread)
- Spent two extremely fun evenings with friends playing Gartic Phone.
- Managed to deep clean about 90% of the apartment.
