I've had quite a busy time; August was full of exams, and I am done except for one that I have to hand in mid September. The past 10 days were even busier: Traveling a few hours to attend a birthday party in Gieรen, going to Main Matsuri in Offenbach, hosting friends back home, going to the gym more consistently, playing lots of MtG and boardgames, Commander at the LGS and spontaneously going to gamescom for a day (haven't been in 10 years!).
Had some fun playing Imperial Assault. I won, but it was close; I was just lucky with the turn order.
Also, the Stardew Valley boardgame. People are always delighted to find out it exists and that I have it so they can try it out :) We sadly lost due to 1 mineral missing.
I played soooo much Magic recently, but I wanted to document the three dice I needed for Uthro's Research Craft because it was stationed with 11, and had 36/8 due to me having 36 artifacts out (thanks to Threefold Thunderhulk having a considerable amount of counters and often attacking, therefore creating a fuckton of artifact Gnomes, and this being an artifact deck). I still lost because of my wife using Emrakul >:( she won with 1 HP
It was kinda cool, but I should have packed more cash. If I had, I could have gotten matcha from the at least 10 stands that offered it and reviewed them all or at least ranked them on my matcha blog. I also loved the jewelry at a specific stand, wanted to order online days later and they don't even have half their stuff on their Etsy. Sad :( I still got myself a Strawberry Iced Matcha Oat Latte and a Sakura Oat Latte.
After a while, I chose to take a break and sit down on the grass while my friends explored some other areas. I spent the time peoplewatching.
I liked my look for the gamescom. We bought Magic cards, some Sanrio items, and cute stickers. I was inspired to go by a friend who went and brought me some Cinnamoroll stickers <3 Some of it will be in another post though :)
Saved a future pinehawk moth from the street. It was huge and had what I thought was a stinger, but apparently it is harmless. It thrashed around a lot, so I had to use a leaf.
This gentleman approached us and laid next to us in the Supercafe in Gieรen.
I made puff pastry squares with caramelized onions and mushrooms.
And I was loved by my wife, being silly with messages on the glass and a cream heart.
