mtg things i love & hate
Love
- Milling a lot of cards for the Corpseberry Cultivator
- Having Fynn and Bilious Skulldweller out at the same time, together with other creatures of mine that have deathtouch, and getting >5 poison counters on the opponent in one round
- Grievous Wound and Nowhere to Run
- The Unstoppable Slasher
- Using The End to destroy every loser’s Hare Apparent deck. Stop playing this boring shit
- Counter removals like Glissa Sunslayer on creatures like Archfiend of the Dross, making the bomb go off almost immediately by instantly removing three of the four oil counters
- Playing Rise of the Dark Realms and reviving my and the opponent’s graveyard on my side
- When opponents pull themselves to death via their own Phyrexian Arena effect
- Restless Fortress, especially to create a win condition in my removal deck
- The Millennium Calendar - I don’t even play it, but when an opponent of my fiancée seriously completed it because she had no artifact removal it was sooo funny
- Funny and unserious deck themes
- Unstable in general
- Chaos Confetti
Hate (to play against)
- Landfall
- “If you’d create a token, create double the amount”
- Hydra bullshit
- Any of the Ghalta cards
- Sheoldred
- Ral Otter Decks
- Loops that trigger endlessly until you’re dead, like Bloodthirsty Conqueror x Starscape Cleric
- Toxic “Nice” “Good Game” in Arena
- Authority of the Consuls (until I remove it)
