i did not care for the godfather
So I heard a while ago that before TikTok temporarily shut down, creators on the platform filmed confessions to the sound of Peter Griffin saying he never cared for The Godfather, admitting things you’d never think of them or admitting some things were lies.
Thought about what these things you wouldn’t expect could be for me, and ended up with these:
- I actually never saw The Godfather. Not that unexpected, but had to mention it.
- My first few website design changes and first version of my dice roller and the eel game on my website were vibecoded, meaning: with heavy support of ChatGPT because it was rather brand new at the time (December/January 2023) and I didn’t have any of the concerns about AI use back then that I developed in the meantime.
- A day ago I ordered at an online shop and clicked to accept the Privacy Policy without reading it.
- Sometimes I’m too lazy to disagree on all that stuff manually on the phone, so I also agree to all the cookies and 4839 third parties 😩
- I’m not on social media, but I get secondhand brainrot slop exposure by watching YouTubers who dissect it (Hannah Alonzo, Kurtis Conner, occasionally Salem Tovar etc.) so unfortunately I still know about some stuff anyway, and I also still talk to people who use social media brainrot language, and so it slips into my writing too. It’s less so on here but if you talk to me on Discord for a while it’s spilling out of me sooner or later…
